Schplink is a pleasure to pronounce and even more delightful to drink. It’s a textbook Gruner with crisp green apple flavors, herbaceous notes of mint and basil, followed by a lean, mineral-driven finish. A short maceration on the lees keeps the wine super fresh and vibrant. Practicing organic, with a focus on soil cultivation, it has been farmed for 11 generations, dating back to 1721. It’s a great boxed white for a glass on demand but also pairs wonderfully with shrimp scampi, fish’n’chips or Szechuan take out.
